The shop is so beautiful and quaint, with modern cooking appliances but decorated as an old brick pizza oven with authentic worktop tools and hanging herbs.I have only ever seen one man working there so I assume he both owns and runs the business by himself, he's so lovely and even gave us some free kebab meat for our dog who was waiting outside! :) We offered him a tip once our food was ready but he humbly and politely declined with a smile and said "We mustn't put his prices up" which gave us a good chuckle.We ordered a pizza each and unlike every other pizza I've had from a takeaway (including Domino's, Papa John's and Pizza Hut) the food from Moonlight Pizzas tasted SO fresh rather than just super greasy! The pizza base was topped in front of us with fresh ingredients after we placed our order (you can order a 9" plain cheese pizza for about 4.20 and 30p per additional topping, or 12" plain cheese pizza for about 5.50 and 50p per additional topping. Though please note these prices may change over time), and the end result was fresh and delicious. The base was fluffy and light, the veg tasted really fresh, and the cheese was very satisfying but not greasy. It had a very homemade feel to it rather than just a mainstream fast-food feel. I haven't tried Moonlight Pizzas kebabs or burgers yet but I look forward to trying them too!Moonlight Pizzas has instantly become my favourite takeaway in Cullompton, I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy dinner, night-out food, or high street snack :) Thank you for your amazing service, we'll definitely be coming back!
