Nice place close to where I live a good food
Ali Raj do very good food and Ive been going to them for a long time however theyve recently introduced a new policy where you cannot pay on card via the phone. What this means is that to get delivery you have to have cash - and if its a big order for lots of people that total can be over 100 which isnt an amount people have lying around the house. Paying via card on the phone takes less than 2 minutes - the same as it would in person and this new policy revision is idiotic and will definitely cause a loss in customers. It has meant that our party has to be broken up this evening as our host goes all the way to Cullompton from Uffculme and collect herself just so payment can be made via card. I suggest this policy is revised quickly.Just received our order and theyve got several things wrong and forgotten at least 3 items we paid for. Shocking.
This has got to be my favourite Indian takeaway in the area.With a large Delivery radius. Worth asking do they cover your village.Large portions and good value.Good things come to those who wait, as they can get busy. Which proves how good and popular they are.This is REAL authentic Indian food at its best.
Quick service.. Extensive menu for both meat and vegetarian dishes. Always comes with a small salad. Delivers. Always tasty and fresh ingredients. Prices are average. ( 7 for main and rice approx)
My wife asked me what I wanted for a birthday meal last Monday. I opted for an Indian takeaway. The only Oriental takeaway open on a Monday in Cullompton turned out to be Ali Raj. (Good commercial move there guys!) Had an absolutely super meal, the remnants of which I will be eating today (Wednesday). Dont be put off by the bland exterior or their premises, the food from within will not disappoint. Thoroughly recommended.
