Lovely historical site. Nice walk nearby

Admission a little expensive but worth every penny. Visited on a steaming day and had a great guided tour. Sadly the cafe closed at 2pm so we missed a much needed cuppa!

A wonderful group of working original machinery. The best every guided steam tour and a lively mill guide with a few smaller operating exhibits. Not cheap admission but worth every penny. About 3 hours should be adequate time to visit on an operating day.

We went to a bat talk in the evening, it was really interesting and informative. Will definitely visit in the day next time and explore the mill and cafe.I also have read recently that it is haunted!!!

A great day out, so interesting an very good insight into a Victorian wool mill, driven by steam. Every month there is a steam day, when all the machines are running after the two huge coal boilers have been fired up to provide the steam to drive the machines. This place is so interesting we spent all day there, an engineering trip and a crafts trip rolled in to one, to please both male and female visitors alike, you can go on a steam tour and a mill tour, all included in the admission price The tour guides were so knowledgeable and informative and all staff were so friendly and obliging.A perfect day out.
