Stunning views ,,,beautiful surroundings ,,very basic campsite showers and toilets,,loved it here and it's right on diggerland
Very basic campsite. We pre-booked so got the cheaper price so can't complain too much but if I was paying the higher rate I would have been disappointed. We stayed over a sunny weekend in August and probably half full which was lucky as I think the number of toilets would have been a problem with any more people.Basic shower block with two wcs and two shower cubicles for ladies and I believe the same for the men. The sanitary bins overflowing and not emptied all weekend were pretty gross. Cold water only in the makeshift dishwashing area made washing up tricky. I'd say ok for a couple of nights in dry weather but any longer/damper weather and it'd be pretty miserable. Probably an ok site for caravanners with their own washing facilities though. Good location for day trips, Esso/spar garage is walkable and had the staples you might need to grab available.
