Facilities all damp with mould spots shower base leaked and wet all my things. 2 Aggresive dogs seem to roam the grounds. Constant smell of cannabis seeming to come from the camp shop reception area. Very unfriendly lady in the shop when it eventually opened, very poor wifi connection. Mouse/rat feaces in the bed on arrival..
Ideal location but site abit shabby.
Even though they are friends. I couldn't tell you another camp site within the same settings. Simple lovely. Josh and Tristan are always improving it to!
A really beautiful place with lots of things going on, like movie nights, a visiting stone baked pizza van and the cutest cream tea and scones vintage caravan. If you're looking for privacy though, even in the more wooded area of the site (primrose), this may not be the place for you with people using your plot as a shortcut to the fishing ponds.
This is a must visit campsite, not to big with a great shower block, one at the top of the campsite and also at the bottom. Lovely and quite with really nice helpful owners. We will defo return
